My friend John Keeble, a former night editor on The Guardian, has been working voluntarily in Thailand and Nepal for several years. He helped in the production of Shadow Trade, an exposure of the practice of kidnapping pet dogs and selling them to restaurant owners. The programme has been sold for broadcast in several countries, but not in the UK - the link allows it to be seen on Youtube. It is seriously unpleasant viewing.
John has contributed to earthquake relief in Nepal, and to Nepalese education.
