Katharine Birbalsingh's experience should have warned everyone that telling the truth about behaviour in UK schools is a risky business. The latest one to get the sack is Mike Stuchberry, for complaining that banter was being used as an excuse for bullying. The head said she agreed with him, but never mind, he got the sack anyway. Or, rather, an invitation to try a fresh start somewhere else. A good BBC report here.
